5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running backs Matt Breida (ankle) and Raheem Mostert (knee) are active for Thursday’s Week 9 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (inactive) is a healthy scratch. Despite the reinjury risk, Breida is a playable RB3 against one of the worst defenses in football. Mostert is a garbage time-dependent flex play but otherwise has minimal value. Tevin Coleman will retain his RB1 status while fourth-string back Jeffery Wilson can be safely ignored. On the receiving side, Goodwin returned Monday after dealing with a personal issue and but will sit after missing multiple practices. This lifts the floor for rookie wideout Deebo Samuel, but he’s still just an upside WR5 in a low-volume passing attack.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
