5 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins didn't provide what owners would have hoped for with Trae Young (ankle) out, but he did manage to score 12 points with some solid extras. Collins added seven rebounds with a steal and three blocks while drilling two makes from three on the night. Collins did tweak his ankle and went to the locker room, but returned and looked fine, so owners need not worry. Collins is filling up the defensive categories so far with averages of 2.0 blocks and a 1.0 steal. If these numbers are maintained to go along with what we expect from the Collins, we could see a top-25 player in the making.--Gianni Costantiello
