In eight starts at the site, Blaney has four top-10 finishes, which include two finishes of third in the last two events. Since 2017 at PR, Blaney ranks fifth in laps in the top 15 (1,533) and average running position (9.4). Blaney has run very well in the first three races this season and Phoenix is a favorable track for the driver of the No. 12 Penske Ford. Blaney is a driver with a high chance of competing for a top-five finish based on his equipment, and depending on where he qualifies, he will also likely pick up positive place differential.
