5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman always struggled at Darlington throughout his career. In four starts at the site, Bowman’s best finish is 18th, which he scored in last year’s race. He also has finished with negative place differential in his last two starts at Darlington. So far in 2020, Bowman ranks fifth in laps led (113) and average running position (9.1) while ranking third in fastest laps (90) and driver rating (103.8). Although the driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet has performed well at times this season, Darlington is not a favorable track for him.
