4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Derrick Favors could return to the organization on a short-term deal. The Pelicans are reportedly interested in possibly a two-year deal with Favors, according to Tony Jones. They have young forward Jaxson Hayes, but he still needs time to develop his game. Favors is averaging 9.2 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists through roughly 24.2 minutes per game this season. He is not the same type of threat that he used to be, but Favors is a quality veteran presence for the organization. He might be able to have better fantasy value elsewhere, but it sounds like the Pelicans would like him to remain in New Orleans.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
