Chase Anderson Plays Catch Wednesday
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Chase Anderson (oblique) played catch at 60 feet on Wednesday as he works his way back from an oblique strain he suffered over the weekend. The right-hander felt good after the workout, but won’t be ready in time for the start of the season late next week. His rotation spot is up for grabs between Nate Pearson, Shun Yamaguchi, and Ryan Borucki, but we might not find out who fills his place until closer to Opening Day. Pearson is the only arm worth rostering for fantasy purposes despite having an unfavorable schedule.
