4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catching prospect Joey Bart may be receiving his major-league promotion sooner than anticipated. Manager Gabe Kapler said, “things have gone well” for Bart at their alternate site, and now that the service deadline has passed, he can be brought up without losing the extra year of control. With the Giants likely falling out of playoff contention early this year, it would be a good opportunity to see what they have with the youngster, especially since Buster Posey has opted out of the season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
