4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez will get the ball Wednesday versus the Orioles for his first start of the 2020 season in a streamable matchup. Baltimore hitters have hit relatively well so far this season, but they remain a very beatable lineup as seen by the shutout pitched by the Marlins in Tuesday’s game. Hernandez dazzled in Triple-A, owning a 1.13 ERA with 69 strikeouts in 48 IP, but saw definite growing pains in the majors with a 5.03 ERA in 21 appearances a year ago. His high-strikeout arm makes him fantasy viable, and the 25-year-old has a good chance to put it on display during the team’s doubleheader Wednesday.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
