4 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Pedro Severino (hip) exited Sunday's game against the Red Sox in the seventh inning due to right hip flexor tightness, per Baltimore Sun's Jon Meoli. Severino slowed up running to first base after hitting a line-drive single into center field and was removed after. The backstop has been a great presence in the O's lineup this season, batting .333 with 20 RBI.
