4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Keegan Akin had a very short start in Friday's Game Two 10-1 loss to the Yankees. Akin pitched just 2/3 of an inning, allowing four runs on three hits and a walk with one strikeout. The 25-year-old rookie's first two starts went well, but with this one he now has a 4.61 ERA with 16 strikeouts and eight walks over 13 2/3 IP this season. His next start will likely come against either the Braves or Rays, both tough matchups. Fantasy players in single-season leagues should avoid Akin if they can.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
