4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton looked good during his debut with the team. He completed 15 of 19 passes for 155 yards and rushed for 75 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns on the ground. Newton looked healthy and was an elite short yardage passer in this one. To be fair, it was against a pretty awful Miami Dolphins Defense. There is potential for Newton to be a QB1 this season, but we'll see how he does against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2.
