Sam Darnold Has Difficult Task In Week 2
4 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold was expected to have a bounce-back season with a new revamped offensive line. However, Darnold continued to struggle in their season opener versus the Buffalo Bills. He completed 21 of 35 passes for 215 yards with one touchdown and one interception. To be fair, Darnold has one of the worst supporting casts around him. Their rushing attack has been horrendous, so things aren't looking up for the Jets. Darnold will get a tough matchup against the elite San Francisco 49ers Defense in Week 2. Honestly, Darnold belongs on the waiver wire or bench in almost all single-QB formats until he proves he can do something positive.
