4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson is not among the starting nine for Wednesday’s contest versus the Dodgers and right-hander Joe Kelly. Olson, who is slated to miss his first game of the season, has been quiet at the dish over the previous 10 days, ceding way to Mark Canha, who will hold down the spot in his stead. It appears to be just a day off for Olson, which while rare, shouldn’t raise any alarm bells for fantasy managers. His next chance to return to the lineup comes Thursday against Los Angeles, who has not yet tabbed a starter.--Jesse Borek
