4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Rodney Hood (Achilles) has reportedly declined his player option for next season. He suffered an Achilles tear last December, but it appears he's fully healthy for training camp. The player option was worth $6 million, so it's tough to see him getting more money in free agency. Possibly, Hood just wanted a bigger role elsewhere or a change of scenery. Regardless, it's tough to imagine him having standard league value on any roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
