Tough To Start T.Y. Hilton Against Packers
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is having a disappointing season to say the least. Things will not get easier this week against the Packers, who rank sixth against opposing wide receivers. He will likely see a lot of attention from Jaire Alexander, who has been one of the best cornerbacks in all of football this season. Hilton is only averaging a little over three catches and 5.5 targets per game. He also has not caught one touchdown pass, so he isn't even salvaging poor fantasy days by finding the end zone. Based on his career, it would be reasonable to expect a breakout performance eventually. However, we are nearing the end of the season, and Hilton still has not eclipsed 70 receiving yards in any game. It is hard to make a case for starting him in Week 11.
