Trey Burton Not Worthy Of Starting Consideration
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Trey Burton started his season with a promising 11 catches on 16 targets in his first three games. Since then, Burton has just seven catches on 11 targets in his last three games. The Colts are built on running the ball, and they also have three legitimate wide receivers they can depend on. Burton also shares snaps with Jack Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox, which does not give him a whole lot of opportunity to put up consistent fantasy numbers. Burton played the Packers four times when he was with the Bears, and he averaged just two catches for 15 yards over those four contests. He has mostly fallen off the fantasy radar and should not be considered a starting option this week.
