4 years agoTony Finau will make his fifth start of the season this week at Mayakoba, where he has been inconsistent in his past appearances. In four career starts at the venue, Finau has finished seventh and 16th but has also missed two cuts. He has been playing solid golf this season with four top-40 finishes, his best being a T8 finish at the U.S. Open. Finau is long off the tee, but accuracy will be more important this week. He has been good with approach shots, ranking 21st in strokes gained when approaching the green. Past inconsistency at this course is a bit concerning, but he is definitely one of the better players in the field this week.--Connor Wege
