Wayne Ellington Re-emerges Off Pistons Bench
4 years agoDetroit Pistons guard Wayne Ellington was the talk of the fantasy world earlier this season when he scored 16 or more points in seven consecutive games, but he'd completely vanished since. On Sunday against the Knicks, though, Ellington popped back up on the stat sheet, scoring 15 points -- his most since January -- on 4-for-6 shooting. All the shots he took were threes. Don't read too much into this, but Ellington is an interesting second-half player if the Pistons trade him to a team that's in need of his high-quality shooting.
