4 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott will make his seventh start of the season on Thursday against Pittsburgh. He has a near-perfect 5-1-0 record so far with a 2.03 goals-against average, a .931 save percentage, and two shutouts. Elliott picked up his second shutout of the season in his last start when he had 23 saves against Buffalo in a 3-0 win. He's been in solid form throughout the season, but Philly couldn't hang with the Penguins on Tuesday in a 5-2 loss and that was without Sidney Crosby in the lineup.
