Yusei Kikuchi With Mixed Results In Second Spring Start
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi had mixed results in his second spring start as he allowed one run on two hits while striking out none and walking two across three innings pitched. The damage on Kikuchi came from a Yu Chang solo shot in the third inning. Kikuchi has now thrown five innings this spring while giving up two earned runs and striking out three. He had a rough 2020 as he compiled a 5.17 ERA,1.30 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts across 47 innings pitched. He currently has an ADP of 430 and should not be trusted in most rotations heading into 2021 unless we see a marked improvement.
