Tommy Edman Goes 1-for-2 Monday
4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Tommy Edman went 1-for-2 with a run scored in Monday's 7-7 tie with the Miami Marlins. Edman is now 4-for-13 with three runs scored and one stolen base in spring action. Edman struggled a bit in 2020 as he slashed .250/.317/.368 with five home runs and two stolen bases. This was on the heels of a 2019 in which he hit 11 home runs and stole 16 bases in just 326 at-bats. The second base position in 2021 is rather shallow and therefore Edman could be worth his 139 ADP, especially considering the Cardinals' lineup just got stronger with the addition of Nolan Arenado and Edman is eligible at multiple positions in a number of leagues.
