Rafael Devers Continues Spring Struggles
4 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers went 0-for-3 in Tuesday's 11-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Devers has struggled a bit in early spring action as he is now just 2-for-15 with a home run and two RBI across his first six games. He had a breakout 2019 campaign when he hit .311 and crushed 32 bombs while driving in 115 runs, but took a slight step back in terms of batting average in 2020 when he slashed .263/.310/.483. The power stats were still there, however, as he hit 11 home runs and drove in 43 runs in just 232 at-bats. He should round into form as March continues and fantasy players should feel confident in his current ADP of 41.
