Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Continues Hot Spring
4 years agoLourdes Gurriel Jr. continued his hot spring by going 1-for-2 with a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win against the Philadelphia Phillies. Gurriel Jr. is now 5-for-17 with a home run, two RBI, and three runs scored across his first five spring games. Gurriel Jr. played first base in this one and is expected to shift around the diamond as well as outfield in 2021, which should increase his fantasy value. In 2020, he slashed .308/.348/.534 with 11 home runs and 33 RBI. It was a strong season and is a big reason he currently boasts an ADP of 94. His ability to hit for power and average as well as his multiple position eligibility makes him a sound selection.
