4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco went 1-for-3 with a triple and a walk in a 12-3 loss to the Orioles Monday. Polanco had left the team to be present for the birth of his child, and he slotted in as designated hitter against Baltimore. After an injury-plagued 2019 campaign and testing positive for COVID-19 in 2020, Polanco looks ready to get back on track this year as he is slashing .462/.500/1.154 through five games. In 12-team and deeper leagues or in NL-only formats, he is worth taking a look at as a late-round, bounce-back candidate.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
