4 years agoNew York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole struggled on Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers as he allowed two earned runs on three hits while walking one and striking out five. The damage came off two solo home runs, so this one can likely be written off as just a couple of bad pitches by the Yankees' stud. He is currently the number two pitcher being taken in fantasy drafts, and rightfully so as he struck out 94 hitters across 73 innings pitched while posting an ERA of 2.84 and a WHIP of .96 in the shortened 2020 season. Cole has the most strike-out upside of any pitcher in the game and deserves his current ADP of 7.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
