4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates pitcher Trevor Cahill made his debut with the team on Monday afternoon, tossing two perfect innings of relief and striking out one to earn the win over the Orioles. Cahill was hitting the zone well in the outing with 12 of his 17 pitches going for strikes, as he will likely start the year working out of the bullpen. That being said, the Pirates might turn to Cahill to make some starts early on as the injury status of pitcher Steven Brault remains unclear. Managers in deep, NL-only leagues should be the only ones considering having him on their rosters, but he could be a potential streaming option in other formats if he does land in the rotation if Brault misses an extended period of time.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
