Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter Jr. Heading To Orlando
4 years agoAs part of a huge deal on the day of the NBA's trade deadline, the Orlando Magic have acquired center Wendell Carter Jr. and forward Otto Porter Jr. from the Bulls, as well as a pair of first-round picks. Orlando is sending Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu to the Bulls. While Porter's role in Orlando should resemble his role in Chicago as a depth wing, Carter could be a huge fantasy winner. There will be plenty of minutes for Carter in Orlando, who has averaged 24.8 minutes per game this year while the player he's replacing, Vucevic, has averaged 34.1 minutes. Carter might not be a full 10-minute rise in playing time, but increased touches could see him approach 15 points per game, as well as the 9.4 rebounds he averaged last season. If you're looking to target someone who'll end the year strong, Carter appears to be a strong option.
