4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (arm) exited Monday's game in the second inning after being hit by a pitch on a swinging third strike, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Slusser said that the trainer came out immediately and Yastrzemski quickly exited the game. It's unclear at this time whether he was hit in the shoulder or in the hand, but managers will be holding their breath until further details emerge, as Yastrzemski has looked great at the plate this spring with a .308/.341/.692 triple-slash line and four home runs in 15 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
