Jorge Lopez To Be Fourth Starter In Orioles Rotation
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Jorge Lopez will slot into the team's starting rotation as the number-four starter, per Baltimore Baseball's Rich Dubroff. The 28-year-old has had a strong spring, posting a 2.75 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 19 2/3 innings pitched with 17 strikeouts. It remains to be seen if he can carry that success to the regular season, as Lopez owns a poor 6.03 career ERA and 1.50 career WHIP. Fantasy managers should not yet trust him despite his spring success.
