4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi will likely make his debut with the team on April 13 against the Tigers, according to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. Odorizzi has been working back up to in-game shape since signing a two-year deal with Houston earlier this spring, and according to McTaggart, Odorizzi will pitch simulated games on April 3 and April 5. Looking towards his season debut, Odorizzi will have a nice matchup against a Tigers team that had the highest strikeout rate (27.3%) and the third-worst OBP (.303) in the majors last year.
