4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez will slot into the team's starting rotation as the number-five starter to begin the 2021 season. The 28-year-old has had a promising start to his career but saw a decrease in performance over the last several seasons and has not pitched since 2019. He has not pitched well this spring (7.94 ERA, 1.94 WHIP), but only has 5 2/3 innings of work as he has ramped up for the season. Sanchez is an intriguing pitcher for the Giants and fantasy managers given how he has pitched in the past, but he will need to prove that he can get back to that level before he becomes fantasy relevant.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
