4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Curt Casali will start the season as the second catcher on the roster, per NBC Sports' Alex Pavlovic. The veteran had a lackluster 2020 season with the Reds, slashing .224/.366/.500 with six home runs, eight RBI, and two stolen bases. The Giants seem to have their catchers of the future in Joey Bart and Patrick Bailey, but it looks like they will start with Buster Posey and Casali behind the plate at the big leagues.
