4 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena has had recent discussions with the team about a possible contract extension, according to Robert Murray of FanSided. Over 42 games between 2019 and 2020, Arozarena has slashed .286/.384/.607 with eight home runs and six steals. However he rose to prominence during the postseason last year where he batted .376 with 10 home runs in 20 games and was named the ALCS MVP. Despite a sluggish spring in which he hit .256 with a .546 OPS in 15 games, Arozarena remains one of the more exciting young players in baseball, and it makes sense for the Rays to look into locking down Arozarena for the next few years.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
