4 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka (Achilles) could rejoin the rotation during the Braves' second homestand, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Soroka has been working his way back from a torn Achilles tendon, and general manager Alex Anthopoulos said that barring any setbacks, Soroka could be back some time around April 23. Soroka finished second in the NL Rookie of the Year race in 2019, going 13-4 with a 2.68 ERA and 20.3 percent strikeout rate in 174 2/3 innings. He will be worth looking at in most formats upon his return, although managers may want to wait until he has a start or two under his belt.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
