4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto turned in a decent first start of the season in Friday's 6-3 win over the Mariners. The veteran pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks with seven strikeouts. Once a fantasy stud, Cueto has failed to post an ERA below 5.00 since 2018, so it has been difficult for fantasy managers to trust him. Cueto's next matchup will likely be a decent one against the Rockies at home, but fantasy managers should wait to see a few more starts before forming an opinion on him.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
