4 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Jake McGee earned his second save of the season in Monday's 3-2 win over the Padres. McGee entered the game in the ninth inning up by a run and got the first two outs, but then walked Manny Machado and hit Eric Hosmer before getting the final out. McGee's final line was no hits, a walk, a hit batter, and a strikeout over the inning pitched. The new Giant has now converted both of his save opportunities and seems to be taking over the closer position for the team. McGee is worth a look in roto leagues for fantasy managers in need of saves.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
