Anthony Desclafani Turns In Solid First Start Monday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani had a nice debut with his new team in Monday's 3-2 win over the Padres. Desclafani pitched five innings, allowing one run on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts. The Giants weren't able to take the lead until later in the game, so Desclafani was saddled with the no-decision. The 30-year-old had a solid spring and looks to be continuing that momentum. He will likely next start in a decent matchup against the Rockies at home. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on him; he may be worth a roster add if he can turn in another good start.
