4 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward Jalen McDaniels entered the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup against OKC and had a career night with 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting. He was 3-for-6 from downtown and completed his night at the office with six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and zero turnovers in 32 minutes. McDaniels has been out of the rotation for most of the season, but the injury bug has badly stung the Hornets and it gave the 23-year-old a chance to shine. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands in his second career start and surely improved his chances of getting more playing time moving forward.
