4 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle did his best to get his season going in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Red Sox, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts. Mountcastle took a first-inning Eduardo Rodriguez fastball deep to right-center field for his first long ball of the season. The 24-year-old came into this season with high expectations after his strong 2020 showing, but is currently hitting just .179 with two extra-base hits. Hopefully, this HR can help get Mountcastle going in the right direction.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
