4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto had a great start in Friday's 3-1 win over the Rockies. Cueto pitched 8 2/3 innings, allowing a single run on four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. The veteran took a shutout into the ninth inning, but allowed a leadoff triple and a sacrifice fly, got another out, and finally gave up a single before he was relieved. Both of Cueto's starts have been solid this season, leaving hope that he can return to form as a formidable fantasy starter.
