4 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Reyes Moronta (flexor) was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a right flexor strain. Outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. joined the team in a corresponding roster move. Moronta missed the entirety of the 2020 season rehabbing from shoulder surgery. His velocity has been down this season but he was off to an effective start, posting a 2.25 ERA with two strikeouts and two holds over four innings of work. The loss will affect the Giants in terms of losing a key setup man, but it likely won't have much of an impact for fantasy managers except for those in deeper save/hold leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
