4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Austin Slater had another disappointing day at the plate in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Reds, going 0-for-2 with two walks and two strikeouts. Slater, like most of his teammates, were unable to get anything going, as the Giants managed just two hits. The 28-year-old is off to a slow start this season, slashing just .143/.294/.250. The Giants have employed various outfield lineups to start the season, so Slater will need to step it up to remain a staple in the lineup.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
