4 years agoSan Francisco Giants closer Jake McGee picked up his fifth save of the season in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Reds. McGee entered to pitch the ninth inning up by a run and faced four batters, walking one and striking out two to close the door. The Giants have turned to McGee frequently in the first few weeks of the season and he has delivered, allowing no runs with nine strikeouts over his 6 1/3 innings of work. He is looking like a higher-end fantasy closer given his performance so far as well as perceived job stability.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
