4 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler said Wednesday that the team plans to activate Alex Wood (back) from the injured list to start Sunday's game at the Marlins. He has been rehabbing in alternate camp in Sacramento and has been progressing well. The timing couldn't be better, as Johnny Cueto (lat) may end up missing some time with a lat injury suffered Wednesday. The 30-year-old had put together a successful career through the 2018 season, but hasn't been effective since. Hopefully, the Giants can work their magic on Wood and help him return to fantasy relevance.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
