4 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Wandy Peralta converted his second of three save opportunities this season in Monday's 2-0 win over the Phillies. Peralta entered to pitch the ninth inning up by two and tossed a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. Peralta normally would not be the Giants' go-to pitcher in save situations, but Jake McGee (vaccine side effects) on the injured list recovering from his second COVID-19 vaccine, the door is open for several others to see save opportunities in the near future. Peralta has pitched decently this season, compiling a 3.86 ERA with six strikeouts over seven innings of work, but his fantasy value is limited due to few save or hold opportunities.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
