4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Alex Dickerson had a nice day at the plate in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Phillies, going 3-for-4 with three singles and an RBI. The 30-year-old hasn't gotten off to the best of starts with a .239/.314/.435 slash line, but he does have three home runs and nine RBI. He has shown that he can be a fantasy asset in the past, but his current platoon role only affords him playing time against right-handed pitchers. As such, his overall fantasy value is limited. He may be able to force the playing time issue if he can heat up, but he can be avoided in most fantasy leagues until that starts to happen.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
