Aaron Sanchez Turns In Another Strong Start Thursday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez earned his first win as a Giant in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Marlins. Sanchez pitched five scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and no walks with two strikeouts. The 28-year-old had looked solid in his first four starts with the Giants, posting a 1.83 ERA, a 1.02 WHIP, and a 17.5% strikeout rate. While it is still early, Sanchez is looking like the fantasy-relevant pitcher he was in the beginning of his career. Rostered in just 10 percent of leagues, Sanchez is worth more than a streaming look. He'll look to keep things rolling in his next start in a decent matchup against the Rockies at home.
