4 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Maikel Franco continued to heat up in Sunday's 8-1 win over the A's, going 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts. Franco got the O's eighth-inning rally going with a fly ball that cleared the left-field fence for his third HR of the season. The 28-year-old has started to pick things up at the plate, batting .310 with four RBI over his last seven games. Franco was a surprise fantasy contributor last season and is now batting .253 on the season. Rostered in just 12 percent of leagues, Franco is worth a look in deep league for fantasy managers in need of a near-term lineup boost.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
