4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt went 2-for-5 with a single, a solo home run, and a strikeout in Tuesday's 7-5 extra-innings loss to the Rockies. Belt lined a fifth-inning Chi Chi Gonzalez offering just onto the right-field porch for his fourth HR of the season. The veteran is walking at a solid 15.3% clip, but is also striking out at a 29.2% rate with a .217 batting average. He will need to get that average up and cut down on the strikeouts before fantasy managers can start trusting him.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
