4 years agoWith the No. 9 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos have selected Alabama defensive back Patrick Surtain II. It's a surprising move as many thought the Broncos would go quarterback, but maybe there's some truth to the trade rumors for Aaron Rodgers that emerged on Thursday. The Broncos add one of the two best corners in this draft and arguably the best cover guy. Surtain only had four interceptions in three years in college, but he does a good job preventing catches. Denver should have an improved defense next year after allowing the 16th-most passing yards in 2020.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
